A Day at Disneyland!

Yesterday we met up with David's old college flatmate Eric and his new lady Cindy! We spent the afternoon roaming around California Adventure Land and Disneyland, enjoying the rides and atmosphere.

Some of the roller coasters were shut so we resorted to some slower - yet challenging rides - such as to the 3D video games which David was particularly good at!!!
















Afterward we headed to a nearby Italian restaurant for dinner before heading home- exhausted!!

San Francisco ........ day 3

For our final day in San Francisco we woke up - with slightly foggy heads- and headed over to the new Californian Academy of Sciences.

The academy opened late 2008 and was designed by Renzo Piano - who is the same designer of Aurora Place in Sydney.


































The Academy is home to one of the largest indoor Aquariums in the USA - of course David was in Heaven!!















The building is completely 'green ' complete with grassed roof - gold!!

San Francisco ........ day 2

Is there a better way to start the day than with champagne???
There is.....champagne and caviar!!
Or even better champagne, caviar and a 360 view from the Top of the Mark!















We enjoyed an amazing brunch overlooking the City - indulgence people, i love it!
















Afterwards we headed to the 'BusStop' on Union Street to catch up with Jason and Mike to watch the AFC and NFC Championship games - which is the decider for which team goes to the Superbowl.















Many laughs and much beer was consumed.........can you tell?

Weekend in San Franciso........day 1

Last weekend we headed to gorgeous San Franciso to see Jason and Karyn Szeman, and their new baby the very cute Olivia Renee!




















We started the morning with a cruise that took us around Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate and then under the Bay bridge.















We then met the Szeman's for lunch at Butterflly- a restaurant set on the wharf and the location of their very first date!!

David got some quality cuddles with Olivia over lunch.......




















......but im still the bubba he loves the most!!

Baby Miller!!

We are happy to report that Charlie Miller arrived on January 12th at 11:39 PM.
He is 18.75 inches and 7.6 pounds, and Mum and Baby are doing well.
You might remember Debbie and Andrew, we went to their wedding in Austin Texas back in 2006.
We are thrilled for them both- and you can agree Charlie is very cute!!!

David finally home...

David finally made it back from Colorado - all in one piece minus a few blisters and sore muscles!





























The boys had a great time catching up, playing pool, eating out and skiing themselves silly, all before Jay and Erica's Big Day on January 31st in Florida.






























You may remember Jay and Erica from our wedding, as they made the effort to come all the way from New York to celebrate our special day - so we are looking forward to returning the favour! Aren't they cute?
